March 1 - 15

Record: 4-3

Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks

Enter Kevin Durant. Early on in March the fellas were on a roll with the addition of our block buster trade piece. The added dynamic he brings makes everyones life a lot easier, especially mine. His willingness to move off the ball and trust in others makes the job that much easier, and plays to my strengths in the short roll. We found some serious success in that during the Chicago and Charlotte games. Felt like the team was gelling nicely after we had a battle against Dallas, then the injury bug struck again. KD goes down right before a tough stretch of games against the Warriors, Sacramento and the Bucks on a back to back. We managed to get a big win over OKC and it was a night that felt like everyone was contributing. Despite a slow start from the second unit we managed to rally and have a big second half push to win by 30 odd points. Sacramento then came into our building and got a W and we hit the road to play a hungry Warriors who were on the verge of being swept in the regular season for the first time in a long time. It was obvious they had a chip on their shoulder as the media hyped it up a bit, but credit to them they got the job done. We returned home that night to then kit up against the Bucks on a brutal back to back and got down big a few times but managed to rally back. I had a nice input that game, with the boys finding me in the short role many times thanks to their deep drop coverage, but in the end they pulled out of there with the W.
